Dr. Dana Brems

Dr. Dana Brems earned her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from Western University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine of The Pacific in 2019. Prior to her medical training, she received a full tuition academic scholarship (August 2012) and was recognized with a Summer Research Fellowship (May 2016) based on scientific merit and productivity. She also pursued a Nutrition in Medicine Scholar certification from Western University of Health Sciences, issued in March 2016. Her early research included examining non-invasive methods to quantify fungal contamination in maize grain at Cornell University, and contributing to the development of a procedure for BioLegend’s product for biotech research companies.

Dr. Brems is board-qualified in Foot Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (issued January 2022, expires January 2029) and is a Board Certified Podiatrist by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. She holds a medical license from the Podiatric Medical Board of California (issued November 2021, expires October 2025) with credential ID E5814. She maintains active professional affiliations with organizations such as the American Association for Women Podiatrists, the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons, the American Podiatric Medical Association, and the California Podiatric Medical Association.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Brems has developed a significant online presence, creating healthcare-themed short videos on platforms like YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram, where she has accumulated over 6 million followers. She has clinical experience treating conditions such as Achilles Tendinitis, Metatarsalgia, Bunions, Foot Fractures, Hammer Toes, Osteoarthritis of the Ankle and Foot, Plantar Fasciitis, and Sever’s Disease. Her practice focuses on Podiatric Foot & Ankle Surgery, Sports Medicine, and Wound & Burn Care, with primary practice locations in Santa Monica, CA, and a secondary practice in Hawthorne, CA.
