Born on October 9, 1999, in Terre Haute, Indiana, Dylan Schneider developed an early interest in music, evolving from pop and hip-hop to country music. At 14, he began singing and performing, which led to a notable early career moment when Brett Eldredge invited him to perform at a concert in his hometown. Between 2014 and 2016, Schneider built an online following by posting cover versions of country songs on YouTube. This digital presence set the foundation for his independent musical releases.
Schneider’s career progressed with the self-release of his debut extended play, “Wannabe,” in August 2016, followed by “17” in October 2016, which charted at number 37 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums. His third EP, “Spotlight’s on You,” released in April 2017, reached the Top 10 of the Heatseekers Albums chart. In August 2019, he released “Whole Town Talk” through Interscope Records, a collaboration with Round Here Records, an independent label founded by Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley of Florida Georgia Line. This period also saw Schneider touring with acts such as Florida Georgia Line and Morgan Wallen, expanding his live performance reach and audience.
By 2021, Schneider signed with BBR Music Group, marking a significant step in his professional career. He has earned two RIAA-certified Gold records and achieved a Top 5 hit as a songwriter for Dustin Lynch’s “Momma’s House.” His work has accumulated over 388 million on-demand streams. Recognized as a “2024 Next Big Thing” by MusicRow and a “Breakthrough Artist to Watch” by Amazon Music and Pandora, Schneider has sustained his career through consistent releases and touring. His debut album, “Puzzled,” was released in September 2024, featuring 16 tracks he co-wrote or solely wrote. He embarks on his headlining “Bad Decisions” Tour in September 2024, continuing to build a presence in the country music genre.
