Anderson Talisca

Anderson Souza Conceição, known professionally as Anderson Talisca, was born on February 1, 1994, in Feira de Santana, Brazil. His football journey began in youth academies with Vasco da Gama and EC Bahia. Talisca made his professional debut with Bahia in 2013, quickly establishing himself as a significant talent. His first professional goal came shortly after his debut, marking the beginning of a robust career at the attacking midfield position. His early career in Brazil laid the foundation for his move to European football.

In 2014, Talisca transitioned to European football, joining Portuguese club Benfica. During his tenure at Benfica from 2014 to 2018, he secured consecutive Primeira Liga titles in the 2014-15 and 2015-16 seasons. He also played a key role in Benfica’s Taça da Liga victories in both those seasons. His loan spell at Turkish club Beşiktaş from 2016 to 2018 saw him contribute significantly to their 2016-17 Süper Lig championship. Later, he moved to Chinese Super League side Guangzhou Evergrande, where he continued to demonstrate his goal-scoring ability, helping the team win the Chinese Super League in 2019.

Throughout his career, Talisca has consistently delivered strong performances, whether as an attacking midfielder or a forward. His time with Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League from 2021 to 2025 further solidified his reputation as a prolific scorer. Notably, in the 2022-23 season, he achieved a career-high for non-penalty goals per 90 minutes in the Saudi Pro League and secured the Arab Club Champions Cup in 2023. His career progression highlights a consistent ability to adapt and excel across different leagues and football cultures.
