Edward Norton

Edward Norton is an American actor, filmmaker, and activist known for his diverse roles and significant contributions to independent cinema, environmental advocacy, and social entrepreneurship. After his acclaimed debut in the 1996 thriller Primal Fear, Edward Norton quickly established himself as a formidable talent, winning a Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor and receiving his first Academy Award nomination for the role. This breakthrough was swiftly followed by diverse performances in films such as Woody Allen’s Everyone Says I Love You and The People vs. Larry Flynt the same year.

The same year, he was appointed as a UN Goodwill Ambassador for Biodiversity, actively participating in global conservation efforts and advocating for renewable energy solutions. Currently, Norton serves as a committed member of the board of trustees for Enterprise Community Partners, a prominent non-profit organization dedicated to fostering affordable housing solutions across the United States. He is next set to portray folk music legend Pete Seeger in the upcoming biographical drama A Complete Unknown (2024).
