Elizabeth Ann Guttman, known professionally as EG Daily, was born on September 11, 1961, in Los Angeles, California. Daily embarked on her career in the late 1970s, initially appearing in films such as “Jukebox” (1978) and “Street Music” (1981). Her early live-action roles also include parts in “Valley Girl” (1983) as Loryn and “Pee-wee’s Big Adventure” (1985) as Dottie. These roles established her presence in the entertainment industry before she transitioned significantly into voice acting, which would become a defining aspect of her career. Her versatile talents were also evident in her musical endeavors, demonstrating a broad range across different artistic mediums.

Daily is most recognized for her iconic voice roles in animated series and films. She lent her voice to Tommy Pickles in “Rugrats” (1991–2004) and its spin-off “All Grown Up!” (2003–2008), characters that became central to a generation of viewers. Another prominent voice role is Buttercup in “The Powerpuff Girls” (1998–2005). Her voice acting expanded to feature films, where she notably voiced Babe in “Babe: Pig in the City” (1998) and Young Mumble in the Academy Award-winning “Happy Feet” (2006). Other popular tracks include “Shake It Up” and “I’m Hot Tonight” from the “Scarface” soundtrack, and “Love in the Shadows,” featured in “Thief of Hearts” and “Circuit.” Her song “Mind over Matter” was included in the soundtrack for “Summer School” (1987). She has released several studio albums, including “Lace Around the Wound” (1989), “Tearing Down the Walls” (1999), and “Changing Faces” (2008), showcasing her continuous engagement with music composition and performance. In 2013, she participated in “The Voice” season 5, joining Team Blake and advancing through the battle rounds.
