Emilia Mccarthy

Emilia McCarthy was born on August 28, 1997, in London, Ontario, Canada. Her formal acting training began at Armstrong Acting Studios in Toronto. At the age of seven, she expressed a strong desire to pursue acting as a career. Her professional journey commenced in 2006 when she secured her first role as Elle Fanning’s photo double in the Golden Globe-winning film “Babel,” directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu. This early experience involved working alongside actors such as Brad Pitt, Cate Blanchett, and Gael García Bernal, and highlighted her bicultural background and language skills.

Throughout her career, McCarthy has demonstrated versatility across various platforms. Her television credits include starring roles in Disney Channel Original Movies such as “Zombies” (2018), “Zombies 2” (2020), “Zombies 3” (2022), and “Zapped” (2014). She also held series regular roles on Netflix’s “Hemlock Grove” (2013), Nickelodeon’s “Max & Shred” (2014-2016), and Family Channel’s “Dark Haven High” (2017).
