Eric Bigger is an American TV personality, personal fitness trainer, and social media influencer who rose to fame as a contestant on hit ABC show The Bachelorette and has subsequently appeared as a contestant on the likes of Bachelor in Paradise and The Bachelor Winter Games. He is the co-author of TRANS-FOR-MA-TION: Change Your Mindset, Change Your Energy, Change Your Life, a self-help workbook that was published in July 2020 to enthusiastic reviews. He is particularly popular on Instagram, with an outreach of nearly 150,000 followers.
Bigger currently lives in Los Angeles, but he was born in Baltimore, Maryland in 1988. He worked – as he still does – as a personal trainer and had even appeared as an actor in a couple of short films before being chosen as one of the contestants for the 13th season of The Bachelorette in 2017. Along with 30 other bachelors, he aimed to win the heart of Texan attorney Rachel Lindsay – the long-running franchise’s first-ever African-American bachelorette. Bigger stayed in the show for an impressive nine weeks, ultimately finishing third.
Early the following year, Bigger joined the first and only season of The Bachelor Winter Games, a reality-television parallel of the 2018 Winter Olympics, in which Bachelor alumni competed in winter sports events. He had a much hotter experience later that year when he appeared in the fifth season of Bachelor in Paradise, a series that involves former Bachelor and Bachelorette contestants trying to find love among themselves in an exotic location. Since then, he has also appeared on Celebrity Family Feud.
