Erko Jun was born on June 28, 1990, in Janja, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He initially gained recognition as a fitness model and personal trainer, building a significant online presence and establishing his own clothing line and fitness programs. This early career phase showcased his dedication to physical conditioning and marketing. Jun’s background in combat sports is rooted in kickboxing. He moved to Antwerp, Belgium, and trained at UFD Gym, alongside Combat Brothers and Celtix Gym.

Jun made his professional mixed martial arts debut in 2018 at Konfrontacja Sztuk Walki (KSW) 44. His first fight on June 9, 2018, saw him defeat Tomasz Oświeciński via first-round knockout, earning him a “Knockout of the Night” bonus. He continued his winning streak in KSW with TKO victories over Paweł Mikołajuw in October 2018 and Akop Szostak in May 2019. His time with KSW concluded after a TKO loss to Mariusz Pudzianowski in November 2019. Following KSW, Jun competed in Elite MMA Championship (EMC) from 2020 to 2022, securing two TKO wins and one loss. In 2023, he joined Brave Combat Federation (Brave CF), where he achieved several TKO victories and, in September 2024, defeated Alexander Wesner to become the Brave CF Light Heavyweight Champion. Jun also had a kickboxing debut in 2022 against Vladimir Mineev.
