Falen Bonsett

Falen Bonsett embarked on her radio career in southern Indiana, gaining experience before relocating to Reno, Nevada, and eventually settling in the Twin Cities. Her dedication and talent in radio led to significant recognition, including her first Marconi Award in 2023. Currently, she co-hosts the “Falen & Colt” afternoon show on 101.3 KDWB, a position she has held since February 2024. Prior to this, from August 2023 to July 2024, she hosted “The Falen and Zach Show” on the same station. From 2012 to September 2023, Bonsett served as a Morning Show Co-Host for iHeartMedia’s 101.3 KDWB. Her educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Southern Indiana, which she completed between 2002 and 2006.

Bonsett expanded her media career into television, joining “The Jason Show” as a co-host, a role she commenced in July 2024 with FOX 9 | KMSP-TV. This transition followed a period where she had not initially envisioned a career in television. Beyond her professional work, Falen Bonsett is married to Jake and is a mother to Olive and a stepmother to Dillon. She maintains a public presence on social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok under the handle @falenkdwb. Her personal interests include year-round iced lattes, being a ‘Swiftie’, and traveling with her family to different National Parks annually; Glacier National Park is cited as her favorite. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she developed an interest in oil painting and also recently discovered a passion for Pilates.
