Farrah Moan

RuPaul’s Drag Race star and world famous drag queen Farrah Moan is known for appearing on the 9th season of the hit reality TV show.

After growing up poor and being bullied throughout her childhood, Moan ran away from home when she was a teenager. She started living in Austin, Texas, launching a local drag queen career with the help of friends she made in the city. She entered local competitions including Austin’s Next Drag Superstar and started building up a reputation for her shows at local venues. In 2017 she was cast on season 9 of RuPaul’s Drag Race, the biggest drag competition in the world. Moan shot to fame, becoming one of the fan favourites from the series and upsetting fans when she was eliminated in eighth place. As part of her work with the show she met her idol Christina Aguilera which was released in a viral video clip and has now been viewed more than a million times. Since leaving the show Moan has performed around the world, as well as making guest appearances on Watch What Happens Live, The Trixie and Katya Show and returning to compete on RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars where she placed ninth.
