Filippo Inzaghi

Filippo Inzaghi achieved significant recognition at Atalanta, becoming the Serie A top scorer (Capocannoniere) in the 1996–97 season with 24 goals. His exceptional abilities led him to Juventus in 1997, where he secured the Serie A title in 1997–98, the Supercoppa Italiana in 1997, and the UEFA Intertoto Cup in 1999. During his four seasons with Juventus, Inzaghi netted an impressive 89 goals across 165 appearances and was also named Serie A Young Footballer of the Year in 1997. In 2001, Inzaghi embarked on the most celebrated period of his playing career, joining AC Milan.

Most recently, in 2024, Inzaghi was appointed manager of Pisa, notably leading the team to promotion to Serie A in 2025, ending a 34-year absence from the top flight. Following this achievement, he was appointed head coach of Palermo in 2025. Throughout his storied career, Inzaghi has distinguished himself as Italy’s all-time top goalscorer in the UEFA Champions League with 46 goals and ranks as the sixth-highest goalscorer in European club competitions with 70 goals, cementing his legacy in international football.
