Firas Katoussi

Firas Katoussi is a talented Tunisian taekwondo practitioner, celebrated for his impressive achievements in international competitions. Born in Tunisia, Katoussi’s passion for taekwondo began early, and he quickly established himself as a formidable competitor. His dedication paid off when he secured a gold medal in the men’s 80 kg event at the 2024 Summer Olympics, marking a historic moment for Tunisian sports.

Prior to his Olympic triumph, Katoussi showcased his skill on the global stage at the 2022 World Taekwondo Championships in Guadalajara, Mexico, where he earned a bronze medal in the men’s lightweight category.
