Francesco Passaro

Born on January 7, 2001, in Perugia, Italy, Francesco Passaro turned professional in 2019. He plays right-handed with a two-handed backhand and is coached by Roberto Tarpani. Passaro has steadily climbed the ATP rankings, reaching a career-high singles ranking of world No. 89 on February 17, 2025, and a doubles ranking of No. 256 on February 20, 2023. Passaro made his ATP main draw debut in 2021 at the Emilia-Romagna Open in doubles. A key turning point came in 2022 when he reached his first ATP Challenger Tour final at the Sanremo Challenger, facing Holger Rune.
