Francesco Passaro

Francesco Passaro is an Italian professional tennis player known for his significant career progression, including Challenger titles and main draw appearances at major tournaments, demonstrating his dedication and skill on the professional circuit. After turning professional in 2019, Francesco Passaro made his ATP main draw debut in doubles at the 2021 Emilia-Romagna Open. A significant turning point came in 2022 when he reached his first ATP Challenger Tour final at the Sanremo Challenger, facing Holger Rune. Passaro subsequently made his Masters debut as a wildcard at the 2022 Italian Open.

That same year, he secured two gold medals at the 2022 Mediterranean Games in Oran, winning both the men’s singles and the men’s doubles with Matteo Arnaldi. On January 27, 2025, he broke into the top 100 in singles rankings, reaching world No. 90, and continued to demonstrate strong form by reaching back-to-back third rounds at the Italian Open. Francesco Passaro achieved a career-high singles ranking of world No. 89 on February 17, 2025, underscoring his consistent performance and dedication on the professional circuit.
