Franz Drameh

Franz Alhusaine Drameh was born on January 5, 1993, in London, England, UK. He is a Gambian British actor who trained at The Young Actors Theatre. His career began to develop with his film debut in Clint Eastwood’s fantasy drama, “Hereafter” (2010), where he played a teenager. This early collaboration with a renowned director marked a significant entry into the film industry. He subsequently appeared in the British film “Attack the Block” (2011) and later in the blockbuster science fiction film “Edge of Tomorrow” (2014), alongside Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt, further establishing his presence in high-profile productions.

Drameh transitioned into prominent television roles, notably joining The CW’s Arrowverse. He took on the role of Jefferson “Jax” Jackson, also known as Firestorm, first appearing in “The Flash” (2015-2017) and then becoming a main cast member in its spin-off, “Legends of Tomorrow” (2016–2018, 2021). This role spanned 44 episodes and involved crossovers with other Arrowverse series like “Supergirl” and “Arrow,” demonstrating his ability to maintain a consistent presence across a shared television universe. His work in these series showcased his acting range in action and superhero genres, making him a recognizable figure in a popular franchise.

In addition to his superhero work, Drameh has also appeared in the Apple TV+ series “See” (2019–2021) as Boots, appearing in seven episodes.
