Rayan Lopez

Rayan Lopez, also known as Ray Ray, was born on January 6, 1996, in Inglewood, California. He gained prominence as a member of the R&B/hip-hop boy band Mindless Behavior, which was formed in Los Angeles in 2008. Before joining the band, Lopez was involved in dancing with Tommy the Clown. Mindless Behavior trained for two years in dance and singing before releasing their first recording. Lopez was the oldest member of the original group and was known for his role as a backing vocalist and rapper.

Mindless Behavior released their debut album, “#1 Girl,” on September 20, 2011, which reached number seven on the US Billboard 200 chart. The band’s second studio album, “All Around the World,” was released on March 12, 2013, coinciding with their feature film documentary, “Mindless Behavior: All Around the World.” During his time with Mindless Behavior, Lopez participated in major tours, opening for artists like the Backstreet Boys, Justin Bieber, Jason Derülo, and Janet Jackson. He was also part of the BET Closer to My Dreams Tour and the SCREAM Tour. Lopez remained with Mindless Behavior until September 2015 when he departed to pursue a solo music career.

Following his departure from Mindless Behavior, Rayan Lopez began to focus on his individual artistic endeavors in music and acting. He is credited as an actor in the television mini-series “Howard High” (2020) and a subsequent feature film “Howard High” (2021), where he played the character of Lebron Davis. His earlier acting credits include “Big Time Movie” (2012) and various Mindless Behavior music videos. In his solo career, he has explored different creative avenues, including songwriting. In January 2017, he announced he was becoming a father, and in May 2017, his son, Sane Jahmore Lopez, was born. As of 2021, he was preparing to release his debut EP, “If Love Died Everyday.”
