Gary Caldwell

Gary Caldwell is a former professional footballer and current football manager, known for his impactful playing career with various clubs including Celtic and Wigan Athletic, and his transition into coaching roles. After an impactful professional playing career, Gary Caldwell played a pivotal role in Celtic’s back-to-back Scottish Premier League Championships in 2006–07 and 2007–08, alongside a Scottish Cup victory in 2006–07 and a Scottish League Cup win in 2008–09. As a central defender, he later achieved FA Cup success with Wigan Athletic in 2012–13. Caldwell earned 55 international caps for Scotland, securing his place in the Scottish FA International Roll of Honour in 2012 for surpassing 50 appearances.
