Eugene Clifton Stallings Jr. is a distinguished former American football player and coach, whose career has left an indelible mark on the sport. Stallings played college football at Texas A&M University from 1954 to 1956, where he was part of the legendary “Junction Boys” under coach Bear Bryant. His contributions as a player culminated in a Southwest Conference championship in 1956, showcasing his talent and leadership on the field. After earning his degree in Physical Education, Stallings transitioned into coaching, beginning as the freshman coach at Texas A&M in 1957.
