After starring as Michael Waits in the 1990 horror film ‘Troll 2,’ George Hardy became widely recognized in the realm of cult classic cinema. Despite its initial direct-to-video release and overwhelmingly negative reception, the film later garnered a significant cult following, eventually being celebrated as one of the ‘worst films ever made.’ Following this, Hardy returned to his full-time dental practice, establishing a successful clinic in Alexander City in 1991. His connection to ‘Troll 2’ was reignited with ‘The Troll 2 Experience’ screening in 2006, leading to a resurgence of interest in his acting career.
