Geraldine Viswanathan is an Australian actress known for her roles in film and television, including the breakout comedy “Blockers” and the acclaimed TV series “Miracle Workers.” After her breakthrough role as Kayla in the Universal comedy Blockers in 2018, directed by Kay Cannon, Geraldine Viswanathan established herself as a formidable talent in film and television. Prior to this, she gained recognition for her work in Emo the Musical in 2016 and her recurring role as Bonnie in the ABC drama series Janet King in 2017. The same pivotal year as Blockers, Viswanathan also appeared in the Netflix film The Package and the critically acclaimed drama Hala, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival before its acquisition by Apple. Her compelling performances led to her inclusion on The Hollywood Reporter’s ‘Next Gen Talent’ list in 2018.
In 2020, Viswanathan starred as Lucy Gulliver in the romantic comedy The Broken Hearts Gallery, a film that Sony Pictures acquired after a competitive bidding war.
