Ms. Pat, an Emmy-nominated comedian, actress, and author, performed her first stand-up routine in Atlanta in 2002. She further developed her comedic skills in 2006 after moving to Indianapolis, becoming a regular at Morty’s, a recognized comedy venue. Her comedy career gained wider recognition in 2015 when she participated in the ninth season of NBC’s ‘Last Comic Standing.’ Following this, she appeared on various popular shows and podcasts, including those hosted by notable comedians such as Kevin Hart, Marc Maron, and Joe Rogan, and became a frequent guest on ‘The Bob & Tom Show,’ significantly expanding her audience reach.
In 2017, Ms. Pat released her debut stand-up album, ‘Rabbit,’ which humorously shared her distinctive life experiences. The following year, 2018, saw her featured in Netflix’s stand-up series ‘The Degenerates.’ Concurrently, she co-authored ‘Rabbit The Autobiography of Ms. Pat,’ a memoir that was a finalist for the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Literature in 2018.
Her hour-long Netflix comedy special, ‘Ms. Pat: Y’all Wanna Hear Something Crazy?’ premiered globally on February 8, 2022, showcasing her unique perspective and comedic style to a global audience. Most recently, in 2023, Ms. Pat began hosting ‘Ms.
Pat Settles It,’ a comedic arbitration-based reality court show on BET. She also expanded her acting credits with a role in ‘Zoey 102’ in 2023, followed by appearances in ‘Drugstore June’ and ‘Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead’ in 2024. Ms. Pat is currently scheduled to appear in ‘Lil Kev’ in 2025, continuing to solidify her diverse presence across stand-up, television, and film.
