Gianluigi Donnarumma

Following his instrumental role in Italy’s UEFA Euro 2020 triumph, where he was named Player of the Tournament – a historic achievement for a goalkeeper – Gianluigi Donnarumma has established himself as one of the world’s leading goalkeepers. Donnarumma joined AC Milan’s youth system in 2013 and quickly progressed, receiving his first senior team call-up in February 2015. He signed his first professional contract with AC Milan in March 2015, making his competitive Serie A debut on October 25, 2015, at 16 years and 242 days old, becoming the second-youngest goalkeeper to do so in Serie A history. He served as AC Milan’s first-choice goalkeeper for six seasons until 2021, notably helping the club secure a second-place finish in the 2020–21 Serie A season and qualify for the UEFA Champions League after an eight-year absence.

He made an immediate impact, making his debut for Manchester City in the Manchester derby on September 14, 2025, keeping a clean sheet in a commanding 3-0 victory against Manchester United.
