Glenn Hoddle

Glenn Hoddle is an English former professional football player and manager, now working as a television pundit and commentator. After being named PFA Young Player of the Year in 1980, Glenn Hoddle established himself as one of English football’s most gifted midfielders. His illustrious playing career began with Tottenham Hotspur, where he signed as an apprentice in 1974. Hoddle made his first-team debut in August 1975 and turned professional later that year, scoring in his first Football League start in February 1976.

He became a sought-after football pundit and commentator for major networks such as ESPN, ITV Sport, TalkSport, and BT Sport. In recognition of his outstanding contributions to the sport, Hoddle was formally inducted into the National Football Museum Hall of Fame in 2007. In 2008, Glenn Hoddle further solidified his commitment to football development by establishing the Glenn Hoddle Academy in Spain.
