Glenna Walters

Glenna Walters, originally from Toronto, began her acting career in 2017 when she secured the role of Tillie in the Netflix original series, “Anne with an E.” This marked her television debut at the age of sixteen. During her time on the show, which initially aired on CBC in Canada before being distributed globally by Netflix, Walters became known to a wide audience. Her portrayal of Tillie spanned the majority of the series’ episodes across its three seasons, contributing to a significant increase in her social media presence by accumulating nearly 500,000 followers on Instagram.

Following her foundational role in “Anne with an E,” Walters expanded her acting portfolio. In 2018, she guest-starred as Soj Reyez in an episode of the Canadian crime series “The Detail,” broadcast on CTV. Her career progression continued with an appearance as Casey in “Blink Twice,” a film anthology released in 2019. In 2020, Walters took on the role of Maya in the Netflix original series “Grand Army,” which was based on Katie Cappiello’s play “Slut.” This project, executive produced by Joshua Donen and Beau Willimon, marked her first acting role outside of Canada, indicating an expanding reach in her professional endeavors.

Beyond her on-screen work, Glenna Walters has engaged in public-facing activities that reflect her commitment to social causes. She joined the celebrity video app Cameo, through which she creates personalized videos for fans. All proceeds generated from these videos are directed towards her local hospital’s coronavirus relief center, supporting community efforts during times of crisis. Her acting credits also include a role as a Teenager in the TV series “Baroness Von Sketch Show” in 2020, and upcoming roles such as Margot Baker in “Brilliant Minds” (2024), Female Student #1 in “Longing” (2024), Annie in “The Madness” (2024), and Rebelle in the upcoming TV series “Lady Ada’s Secret Society” (2025), where she is also credited as a story consultant.
