Gordon Ramsay

Gordon Ramsay achieved three Michelin stars for his flagship Restaurant Gordon Ramsay in Chelsea in 2001, cementing his position as a culinary icon. His foundational experience included training with renowned chefs like Marco Pierre White and Joël Robuchon. He led Aubergine, earning two Michelin stars by 1997. In 1997, he founded Gordon Ramsay Restaurants, opening his eponymous Chelsea establishment in 1998.

He successfully launched American counterparts: ‘Hell’s Kitchen’ (2005–present), ‘Kitchen Nightmares’ (2007–present), ‘MasterChef’ (2010–present) and ‘MasterChef Junior’ (2013–present). Forbes estimated his 2020 earnings at US $70 million, placing him at No. 19 on its list of highest-earning celebrities. He also set Guinness World Records for ‘Fastest time to fillet a 10 lb fish’ and ‘Longest Pasta Sheet Rolled in 60 Seconds’ in 2017.

Beyond television, Ramsay launched significant culinary ventures, including Union Street Café with David Beckham (2013), and was inducted into the Culinary Hall of Fame in 2014. His business empire grew with the first Gordon Ramsay Hell’s Kitchen restaurant in Las Vegas (2018), culminating in a landmark $100 million deal with Lion Capital in 2019 to form Gordon Ramsay North America (GRNA). In 2021, Ramsay diversified his brand with California wines and solidified educational offerings with The Gordon Ramsay Academy, a cookery school. He also signed a new overall deal with Fox in 2021.

Continuing his record-breaking achievements, Ramsay helped set a Guinness World Record for ‘Largest Beef Wellington’ in 2023. Further expanding his global culinary presence, he opened his first Macao restaurant, Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill, that same year. In 2024, Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill Philippines opened at Newport World Resorts, underscoring his ongoing international growth and influence.
