Greg Baldwin

Greg Baldwin is an American voice actor widely recognized for inheriting significant voice roles, notably those originally performed by Mako Iwamatsu. After stepping into the pivotal role of Master Splinter in the 2007 animated film TMNT, Greg Baldwin established his remarkable ability to emulate distinctive vocal styles. This marked a crucial career turning point, leading to numerous high-profile successor roles, notably those originally performed by Mako Iwamatsu. In 2007, Baldwin began his tenure as Iroh in the third season of Avatar: The Last Airbender, a character he voiced through 2008.

He also performed extensively in theater, including plays such as God’s Favorite, Little Shop of Horrors, and The Baker’s Wife. Further demonstrating his versatility, Baldwin lent his voice to Frank Fontaine in the critically acclaimed video game BioShock and contributed to SpongeBob SquarePants, both in 2007. Baldwin continued to build upon his reputation for masterfully delivering complex characters, reprising the iconic role of Aku in the 2009 video game Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall.
