Greg Cipes

Gregory Michael Cipes was born on January 4, 1980, in Coral Springs, Florida. Early in his life, Cipes showed a diverse range of talents, becoming a nationally ranked junior professional surfer by age 17 with 13 corporate sponsors and being featured on the cover of “Eastern Surf Magazine.” His entertainment career began at 13 with an off-Broadway acting and singing debut in “The Rothschilds.” By 16, he had written, recorded, and self-produced his first single with his band “Cipes and the People,” whose album sold over 60,000 copies. This early exposure to various fields laid the groundwork for a multifaceted career in entertainment.

Cipes moved to Los Angeles in 2001 and quickly established himself in both live-action and voice acting. His live-action film credits include supporting roles in over 30 feature films, such as “Fast & Furious” (2009) as Dwight, “John Tucker Must Die” (2006), and “The Onion Movie” (2008). He made numerous television appearances on shows including “Ghost Whisperer,” “Cold Case,” and “Gilmore Girls.” He also held recurring and series regular roles in “The Middle” (2009-2018), “Deadwood” (2004), and “One on One” (2001). Beyond acting, Cipes has also been involved in music with his new band, “Super Space Fighters,” which critics have recognized for its fresh sound.

Cipes is widely recognized as a prominent voice actor, dubbed the “Crowned Prince of the Voiceover.” His breakout voice role came as Michelangelo in Nickelodeon’s “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” (2012-2017). He is also known for voicing Beast Boy in “Teen Titans Go!” (since 2013) and “Teen Titans” (2003-2006), Kevin Levin in the “Ben 10” franchise (starting with “Ben 10: Alien Force” in 2008), and Iron Fist in “Ultimate Spider-Man” (2012). His animated work extends to roles like Chiro in Disney’s “Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go!” (2004) and Ryan in “The Wild” (2006). Cipes is also engaged in community initiatives, including the “Kids Venice Basketball League Natural Leaders program” and his charity organization, “UnAmor,” which supports homeless children, the elderly, and dogs in Los Angeles.
