Michael Greco

Michael Greco was born in 1969 in Sutton, Surrey, England, UK. He studied at the Guildford School of Acting, building a foundation in drama and performing arts. He became widely known for his role as Beppe di Marco in the BBC soap opera “EastEnders,” making his first appearance on January 29, 1998. He portrayed Beppe di Marco for four years, becoming a household name. In 2002, he departed from “EastEnders.”

Following his departure from “EastEnders,” Greco expanded his acting repertoire. He appeared in various theatre productions, independent films, and reality television shows. Notable acting credits include portraying Strabo Plinth in “The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes” (2023), Pothinus in “Queen Cleopatra” (2023), and Juror 7 in the UK tour of “Twelve Angry Men” (2023). He has also featured in television series such as “Holby City” (2022), “The Dumping Ground” (2022), “Casualty” (2017), and the mini-series “Hatfields & McCoys” (2012).

In addition to his acting career, Greco is a recognized professional poker player. He has competed in major poker tournaments, achieving notable results such as a 3rd-place finish in the 2009 World Series of Poker. His total live tournament winnings exceed $1,114,297. In July 2004, readers of the Radio Times voted him the sexiest male soap star ever. He became a father at age 51 in 2021 with his partner Helen Harris.
