Hasan Minhaj

Hasan Minhaj is an American comedian and actor known for his insightful political commentary and unique storytelling style. After winning Wild 94.9’s ‘Best Comic Standing’ competition in 2008, Hasan Minhaj rapidly established himself in the comedy scene, performing opening acts for acclaimed comedians such as Katt Williams and Gabriel Iglesias. In 2009, he relocated to Los Angeles, becoming a finalist on NBC’s ‘Stand-up for Diversity’ and securing minor television roles. Minhaj gained significant national prominence in 2014, joining ‘The Daily Show’ as a correspondent and notably the last hired by then-host Jon Stewart.

That same year, he voiced The Riddler in the Warner Bros.–Spotify podcast ‘Batman Unburied,’ reprising the role for ‘The Riddler: Secrets in the Dark’ in 2023. In 2023, Minhaj took on supporting roles in the feature films ‘No Hard Feelings’ and ‘Haunted Mansion,’ served as a guest host for ‘The Daily Show,’ and hosted the 38th Independent Spirit Awards. Most recently, he launched the political talk show and podcast ‘Hasan Minhaj Doesn’t Know’ and released his third Netflix special, ‘Hasan Minhaj: Off With His Head,’ both in 2024, demonstrating his ongoing versatility across platforms.
