A Las Vegas native, Helen Yee began her journey in the broadcasting industry as a decorated athlete, having been a two-time state champion swimmer and nationally ranked for nine years. Her early exposure to media through interviews with outlets like the Las Vegas Review Journal sparked her interest in sports reporting. Despite describing herself as initially shy, she pursued public-facing roles starting with modeling, appearing on a magazine cover before age 21, participating in local runway shows, fitness events, and serving as a ring girl for boxing and mixed martial arts events in her hometown. This foundational experience in modeling and public presentation helped her transition into media with confidence.

Driven by a passion for sports and storytelling, Helen launched her career as a sports writer. At 22, she created and hosted her own internet radio show, which quickly garnered a global listenership. The success of this independent venture led to an offer for a time slot on a local radio station within months. Her early professional milestones include interviewing four-time Mr. Olympia Jay Cutler, which gained coverage from FLEX magazine, and guest co-hosting for “Gridlock” on ESPN radio and FOX Sports Las Vegas. She also contributed articles to ESPN Las Vegas. Over the years, she has interviewed notable sports figures such as Mike Tyson, Derek Jeter, MMA Hall of Famer Chuck Liddell, and NBA superstar Blake Griffin. Her coverage extends to events like the NASCAR Kobalt 400 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, where she was among the first to interview winner Kevin Harvick.

Helen’s career continued to progress with the creation of her sports radio show, “Eyes On The Game,” which she produces, writes, and hosts. At 24 years old, the show began broadcasting on Las Vegas’ NBC Sports radio AM920 (The Game) and streaming online via LVSportsNetwork.com. The show airs every Tuesday from 2-3 PM PST. She further expanded her reach by launching a YouTube channel for video interviews, with her one-on-one interview with former IBF Heavyweight champion Charles Martin accumulating over 100,000 views in just two weeks. Her story and achievements have been recognized by institutions such as UNLV, Cal State Northridge, and KFI AM640 in Los Angeles, where she was invited to share her experiences. Helen Yee’s consistent presence and dedication have cultivated a strong social media following, exceeding 25,000 followers.
