Henry Fong, originating from the United States, developed his interest in music during his college years. He acquired turntables and a mixer, which he used to become a resident DJ in local establishments. His passion quickly expanded beyond DJing, leading him to begin producing his own music. He learned music production using Ableton, utilizing peer assistance and online tutorials to develop his skills. This foundational period enabled him to transition from local DJ performances to music production and global touring.
Fong’s production efforts have resulted in releases on various record labels, including OWSLA, Mad Decent, Revealed, Spinnin’, Musical Freedom, and Hysteria. His music has received support from established artists such as Calvin Harris, Tiësto, Hardwell, Avicii, Armin Van Buuren, Knife Party, DJ Snake, Showtek, and Bingo Players. In 2015, BBC Radio 1 recognized him as one of their Future Stars. That same year, Fong established his own record label, Banzai Recs, through which he curates diverse musical sounds. His career progression includes multiple Beatport Top 10 placements and collaborations with artists like Sean Paul, Deorro, Elvis Crespo, and Laidback Luke.
