Hunter Woodhall is a Paralympic medalist and para-athletics star who has achieved significant recognition in track and field, transitioning from a promising youth athlete to a multiple-time medalist and entrepreneur. After making his international debut at the 2015 IPC Athletics World Championships, Hunter Woodhall immediately distinguished himself, earning a silver medal in the 400m T44 and a bronze medal in the 200m T44 at just 16 years old. The following year, Woodhall secured two additional medals at his first Paralympic Games in Rio 2016, capturing silver in the 200m T44 and bronze in the 400m T44. His exceptional performance included setting personal bests and an Americas record in these events, leading to his recognition as the 2016 Male High School Track Athlete of the Year by US Paralympics.
At the University of Arkansas, Woodhall competed alongside non-disabled runners, earning a bronze medal in the 4x100m at the SEC Outdoor Championships in 2018. He was also named a First-Team All-American in both the 4x400m Relay and Distance Medley Relay in 2018. In 2019, he further demonstrated his prowess by achieving a lifetime-best 46.22 seconds in the 400m at the SEC Outdoor Championships and securing three-time All-American honors in the 4x400m. Professionally, Woodhall continued his Paralympic success with a bronze medal in the Men’s 400m T62 at the Tokyo 2020 Summer Paralympics in 2021.
