Iddo Goldberg

Iddo Goldberg was born on August 5, 1975, in Tel Aviv, Israel, to a Jewish mother and a Latvian father. He moved to London with his family at the age of 10. Despite initially lacking formal acting experience, Goldberg pursued a career in show business, landing his first minor role in the 1999 independent comedy “Fast Food.” His early career involved diverse roles across various genres and languages, including an episode of the TV crime-drama “The Bill” and the 2002 romantic comedy film “L’Auberge Espagnole.” As his career progressed, Goldberg’s roles increased in prominence and complexity, establishing his presence in both British and international productions.

Goldberg gained significant recognition for his television roles, notably as Ben in “Secret Diary of a Call Girl” (2007–2011), Freddie Thorne in the critically acclaimed BBC Two crime drama “Peaky Blinders” (2013), and Isaac Walton in “Salem” (2014–2017). He expanded his filmography with a supporting role in the 2008 war film “Defiance” and later appeared in “The Zookeeper’s Wife” (2017).
