Ivy Mae Anderson was born in Auckland, New Zealand, and subsequently raised in Australia. Her career began at a young age, specifically at six years old, when she was discovered after participating in a state-wide model and talent search competition. This early success led to agency representation and regular bookings in both fashion modeling and commercial work. She also pursued cheerleading, which intersected with her modeling career, allowing her to travel internationally.
