Jack Dylan Grazer

Jack Dylan Grazer was born in Los Angeles, California, to parents Angela LaFever and Gavin Grazer. His acting career started with guest roles in film and television before he gained significant recognition. In 2017, Grazer portrayed Eddie Kaspbrak in the supernatural horror film “It,” a role he reprised in its 2019 sequel, “It Chapter Two.” These performances, based on Stephen King’s novel, highlighted his ability to combine comedic timing with vulnerability. Following this, he joined the DC Extended Universe, playing Freddy Freeman in “Shazam!” (2019) and later in “Shazam! Fury of the Gods” (2023), bringing heart and humor to the character.

Grazer expanded his work into television with a lead role in Luca Guadagnino’s 2020 HBO series, “We Are Who We Are,” where he played Fraser Wilson, a complex teenager exploring his identity. This role earned him critical acclaim for his dramatic range. He also took on a more sinister character in the 2020 thriller “Don’t Tell a Soul.” In animation, Grazer provided the voice for Alberto Scorfano in the Pixar film “Luca” (2021) and its short sequel “Ciao Alberto” (2021). He also voiced Barney in “Ron’s Gone Wrong” (2021) and Jonathan Kent (Superboy) in the 2022 animated film “Batman and Superman: Battle of the Super Sons.”

Beyond his acting, Grazer is an advocate for anti-bullying, serving as a global ambassador for Stomp Out Bullying. He has also expressed interest in filmmaking, producing and directing his own short films. His upcoming projects include voicing Barney in an animated reboot of “Barney & Friends” and starring opposite Rachel Zegler in the period drama “The Shave” (anticipated 2024). Grazer remains actively involved in diverse projects, including the upcoming films “4 Kids Walk Into a Bank” (2026) and “Ponderosa,” and the television series “The Spiderwick Chronicles” (2024).
