Jack Ortega grew up in Madrid, Spain, in difficult economic circumstances, sharing a small home with six siblings and his grandparents. His initial exposure to magic performances sparked a lifelong pursuit of the art. A significant turning point in Ortega’s development occurred after reading a book on The Law of Attraction, given to him by his mother. This inspired him to develop his own style of illusion, focusing on an innate ability to interpret body language and human interactions.
At the age of 15, Ortega left home to further develop his skills. During his time living in Mallorca, he aspired to meet Sir Richard Branson. Through self-belief and consistent effort, Ortega realized this ambition. His performances often involve creating personalized illusions for individuals, ranging from public figures to everyday people, by understanding their unique experiences and reactions.
Ortega’s career has continued to advance, leading to invitations from notable figures. For example, he performed at the private residence of footballer Cristiano Ronaldo, an event that further elevated his profile. Ortega defines his work as being an alchemist and scientist of human behavior, rather than solely a magician. He aims to expand the perceived limits of what is considered possible through his performances.
