Jack Posobiec

Jack Michael Posobiec III was born on December 14, 1984, in Norristown, Pennsylvania. He pursued higher education at Temple University, graduating in 2006 with a double major in political science and broadcast journalism. During his time at Temple, he served as chairman of the university’s College Republicans chapter and launched a chapter of Students for Academic Freedom. After completing his education, Posobiec worked for the United States Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai, China, and also held roles at WPHT, a conservative talk radio station. His early career included an internship for U.S. Senator Rick Santorum and volunteer work for U.S. Representative Curt Weldon’s 2006 re-election campaign.

From 2010 to 2017, Posobiec served in the United States Navy Reserve, achieving the rank of lieutenant junior grade. During this period, he was deployed to Guantanamo Bay Naval Base for ten months starting in September 2012, and he also worked at the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) both during his reserve service and later as a civilian. In March 2017, he resigned from his full-time civilian position at ONI, attributing his departure to a “toxic work environment” stemming from his support for Donald Trump. His career progression into media and political commentary escalated significantly in the years that followed.

Beginning in 2018, Posobiec gained prominence as a political correspondent and on-air presenter for One America News Network (OANN), a far-right cable channel. He held this position until May 2021 before transitioning to a new role. He became the host of Human Events Daily Podcast for Turning Points USA and simultaneously joined the conservative news site Human Events as a Senior Editor. Notably, his first appearance on C-SPAN was in 2018 at a Public Affairs Event, representing One America News Network. Throughout his career, he has been a vocal figure in conservative political circles, contributing to various media outlets and participating in political events.
