Jackson James White, born in March 1996, grew up in Los Angeles and Nashville. He is the son of actress Katey Sagal and drummer Jack White. Before pursuing acting, he explored a career in music. White attended the University of Southern California before beginning his acting career in 2016. His early work included a short film debut in “Confession” in 2016 and a role as Ash Baker in the coming-of-age romantic comedy film “SPF-18” in 2017. He also appeared in television series such as “The Middle” from 2017 to 2018 and “SEAL Team” in 2018.
White gained further recognition in 2019 with a main role as Brendan Fletcher in the HBO comedy miniseries “Mrs. Fletcher.” His career progressed with a lead role as Charlie Porter in the 2021 coming-of-age comedy film “The Space Between.” In 2022, he took on the role of Officer Zach in the action thriller “Ambulance,” which premiered in Paris before its theatrical release in the United States. Also in 2022, he was cast as Stephen DeMarco in the Hulu drama series “Tell Me Lies,” a role that significantly raised his profile. In 2023, he played Jud Crandall in the supernatural horror film “Pet Sematary: Bloodlines,” which debuted at Fantastic Fest and was subsequently released on Paramount+.
