Jada Shada Hudson

Jada Shada Hudson, born Dwight Giraud in Bridgetown, Barbados, began her career as a male resort entertainer before relocating to Canada in 2009. Upon arriving in Canada, she transitioned into drag performance and quickly established herself within the Toronto drag scene. Her career gained significant attention when she competed on season 3 of the reality competition series, Canada’s Drag Race, a prominent platform for drag artists. During her time on the show in 2022, Hudson demonstrated versatile performance skills, ultimately earning the runner-up position. She notably won one main challenge and two mini-challenges during the season, while also facing elimination twice, showcasing her resilience and performance adaptability.

Following her success on Canada’s Drag Race, Hudson expanded her television presence. In 2023, she appeared as a guest on one episode of the TV series Bring Back My Girls. Her career progression continued with her casting in the new series Slaycation in 2024, where she is featured as a self-contestant across six episodes.
