Jadeveon Clowney

Jadeveon Clowney was born on February 14, 1993, in Rock Hill, South Carolina. He excelled in high school football at South Pointe, where he was recognized as a top talent. During his college career at the University of South Carolina from 2011 to 2013, Clowney quickly became a dominant defensive player for the Gamecocks. In 2012, he won the Ted Hendricks Award as the nation’s best defensive end and was named SEC Defensive Player of the Year. He also earned First-Team All-American honors in both 2012 and 2013, solidifying his reputation as a formidable force on the field.

Clowney was the first overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, selected by the Houston Texans, a rare achievement for a defensive player.
