Jake Abel

Jake Abel earned a Rising Star award at the 16th Hamptons International Film Festival for his work in the 2008 film Flash of Genius, establishing himself as a versatile actor across film and television. His professional acting career commenced in 2005 with a role in the Disney Channel Original Movie Go Figure, portraying Spencer. Following this, he secured a recurring guest role in the CBS science fiction series Threshold. Abel further expanded his early television credits with guest appearances in acclaimed shows such as Cold Case and ER.

A significant period for Abel began in 2009 with his appearance in Peter Jackson’s feature film The Lovely Bones. That same year, he landed a regular role in the 10-episode web series Angel of Death and joined The CW series Supernatural as Adam Milligan, a character he would reprise multiple times over the course of a decade. Abel’s film career advanced considerably with his portrayal of Luke Castellan in Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief (2010), a key role he returned to in the sequel, Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters (2013). Abel continued to take on diverse and prominent roles within the science fiction genre, starring in films such as I Am Number Four (2011) and as Ian O’Shea in The Host (2013), an adaptation of Stephenie Meyer’s bestselling novel.

He appeared in the horror film Malignant (2021) and reunited with his Supernatural co-star Jared Padalecki on The CW series Walker (2022-2023), where he played the character Kevin Golden. Looking ahead, Abel is scheduled to appear in two anticipated feature films, The Red Mask (2025) and Fog of War (2025), continuing his impactful contributions to both film and television.
