Jamie Jones

Jamie Jones is a professional snooker player known for his three-time ranking event semi-final appearances and rise to a world ranking of 27. After achieving the distinction of being the youngest player to make a 147 break in competition in 2002, Jamie Jones embarked on his professional snooker career in 2006. He rapidly established himself on the World Snooker Tour, reaching the last 16 of the 2012 Players Championship. That same year, Jones made a significant impact by advancing to his first World Championship quarter-final, notably defeating Shaun Murphy and Andrew Higginson before a narrow 13-11 loss to Ali Carter.

He achieved this by winning Q School Event 2, defeating Michael Georgiou in the final. His return to the tour was marked by immediate success, reaching the semi-finals of the 2020 Scottish Open. Maintaining a strong presence on the tour, Jones made his fourth Crucible appearance at the 2021 World Championship and advanced to the quarter-finals of the 2022 Gibraltar Open. Throughout his career, Jones has achieved three ranking event semi-final appearances, contributing to a career-high world ranking of 27, and continues to compete in various ranking events, affirming his enduring commitment to professional snooker.
