Jamie Little

Jamie Little, a trailblazing motorsports reporter and announcer, began her barrier-breaking career after graduating from San Diego State University with a Journalism degree in 2001. Joining ESPN in 1998, Little quickly made her mark as one of the first female reporters in X Games history, covering events such as the Winter X Games and Summer X Games. She was also the first female to cover a televised Supercross and motocross event, reporting on various motorsports for ESPN2, including the network’s Motoworld program, starting in 2002. A significant career milestone occurred in 2004 when Little became the first female pit reporter for the television broadcast of the Indianapolis 500, a role she held for 11 consecutive Indy 500s through 2014.

During her 13-year tenure with ESPN, she also covered the Indy Racing League and NASCAR, and in 2008, she won the prestigious Toyota Pro/Celebrity Race. In 2015, Little transitioned to Fox Sports, continuing her impressive streak of ‘firsts’ as a pit reporter for the NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series. This move solidified her position as the first female pit reporter to cover both the Daytona 500 and the Indianapolis 500 for network television. Demonstrating her diverse capabilities, Little also engaged in entrepreneurial ventures, successfully owning and operating multiple Jimmy John’s franchises and a Nothing Bundt Cakes franchise, alongside managing a rental property in Tennessee.
