Up-and-coming singer/songwriter JamieBoy first rose to fame online as a YouTuber and cover artist, but is now making waves with his original music. Although many of his loyal online fans will be familiar with JamieBoy’s popular cover of SZA’s ‘The Weekend’ – which amassed more than one and half million views – his self-penned R&B tracks are proving just as popular, and the catchy ‘You Got It’ has now racked up over a million listens.
The Californian native from Oxnard grew up singing in his mother’s church choir as long ago as he can remember, and his passion for entertaining has continued to grow. Blessed with a truly incredible voice, he began to share his covers of popular tracks on YouTube where he quickly reached more than 550k subscribers, and his videos have now been viewed in excess of 75 million times.
JamieBoy’s remarkable vocals earned him plenty of attention for his creative covers, but in recent years his transition to writing and singing his own R&B songs has seen his fan base soar. With a new album titled New Shit, plus plenty of catchy new tracks including singles ‘Solid’, ‘Till the morning’ and ‘relapse’, JamieBoy is also in demand for gigs around the US. Capturing hearts with his incredible voice both online and wherever he performs, it’s only a matter of time before JamieBoy’s career reaches stratospheric new heights.
