The glamorous “backflipping bimbo of New York City” Jasmine Kennedie left viewers gagged after becoming a fan favourite on Season 14 of RuPaul’s Drag Race. The young drag queen became well known for her iconic runway moments, fierce lipsyncs and her effervescent babbling that earned the stunning diva the title “Mouth Almighty”. The inspirational queen gave viewers one of the most emotional moments in the herstory of Drag Race when she came out as trans to her sisters in Untucked, breaking barriers as Season 14 became the first in the ever-expanding franchise to star five openly transgender contestants.

Jasmine Kennedie (born Kyle Koritkowski ) began her drag journey in her hometown of Binghamton, New York when she was just 16 years old. After gracing the east coast with pageantry and performance art she exploded onto Season 14 of RuPaul’s Drag Race in 2022. Whether she was entertaining viewers in The Daytona Wind or feuding with Daya Bettery and Maddy Morphosis, Kennedie was responsible for so much of the season’s comedy and drama that fans of the show began campaigning for her to return for All Stars as soon as she sashayed away from the show following her elimination.

When Kennedie spoke three words on national television – “ I am trans” – she changed the course of her whole life, and since the tender moment on Untucked she has continued to share updates about her journey with her 140,000 Instagram followers. She is now looking forward to touring the world with other queens from the Drag Race franchise, and intends to further her own brand and launch a gender neutral casual/active wear clothing line geared towards the queer community.
