Robin Fierce

Rashawn Lee Jr., known professionally as Robin Fierce, was born on October 15, 1995, in Brooklyn, New York. He grew up in Hartford, Connecticut, where he developed his foundational performance skills. Prior to gaining national recognition, Lee worked at a Best Buy store. His drag persona, Robin Fierce, emerged with a clear vision, drawing inspiration for the name ‘Robin’ from ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ contestant Raven and incorporating a bird theme, while ‘Fierce’ reflects the assertive nature of his drag.

In 2023, Robin Fierce competed on the fifteenth season of ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’. Representing Connecticut, alongside fellow contestants Amethyst and Loosey LaDuca, she became one of the first contestants from the state to appear on the series. During her time on the show, she showcased her talent in various challenges, including impersonating Karen Huger for the Snatch Game. Although she did not win any maxi or mini-challenges, her participation elevated her public profile and established her as a notable figure in the drag community.

Following her appearance on ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’, Robin Fierce has engaged in significant public speaking and advocacy. In 2023, she made history as the first drag queen guest speaker at Yale Law School, leading a drag queen story hour that featured dramatic readings and a dance performance. She also participated in a flag-raising ceremony at the Connecticut State Capitol to commemorate Pride Month, demonstrating her commitment to LGBTQ+ causes and community engagement.
