Jason Lee contributed to Watford’s 1997-98 Second Division championship-winning side, scoring ten goals, following a significant period in the Premier League with Nottingham Forest from 1994 to 1997, where he also participated in the UEFA Cup and scored eight league goals in 28 games during the 1995-96 season. Lee began his professional football career as a forward, making his senior debut with Charlton Athletic in 1989. He later joined Lincoln City in 1991, making 93 appearances and scoring 21 goals, before moving to Nottingham Forest. His playing career also included spells at Southend United and further loan periods at Charlton Athletic and Grimsby Town before his transfer to Watford.
Currently, Lee serves as a Senior EDI Executive at The PFA, continuing his vital work in promoting inclusion within sports. In addition to his core PFA responsibilities and podcast, he has taken on key consultancy roles, including FA Club Programme Consultant and Chief Football Consultant for the China-Britain Regional Initiative. Through these diverse roles, Jason Lee continues to leverage his extensive experience and public platform to drive positive change and foster a more equitable environment in sports and beyond.
