Javen Butler is a television personality and former footballer. He shot to fame on the dating show Temptation Island, in which contestants in their couples test the strength of their relationships and loyalty towards one another. Butler and his long-time girlfriend Shari achieved great success on the show and got engaged at the end of the season. Their relationship won the hearts of viewers and they went on to set up a podcast together discussing the show.

Since appearing on Temptation Island, he has participated in several podcasts and other media on the topic, as well making an appearance on the Temptation Island Season 2 reunion. He is growing and developing his social media presence, creating content for a YouTube channel with his fiancée Shari as well as growing his Instagram page and becoming a valuable influencer. He has over 42.5k followers. Combining his instinct for entrepreneurship as well as passion for fitness, he has partnered with the brand Snap Supplements. He runs an online range of vitamins and supplements with a focus on health and wellbeing for athletes and fitness fanatics.

Prior to Temptation Island, Butler was a rising star in football. Born in Pittsburg, California, he started playing at collegiate level for the University of North Dakota, joining the North Dakota Fighting Hawks in 2011. He played in the position of linebacker, whilst majoring in General Studies.
