Jc Currais is a Cuban American comedian, actor, and writer, known for his high-energy performances and roles in television and film. After making his film debut in the Sundance Film Festival selection ‘New Low,’ Jc Currais rapidly built a reputation for his high-energy stand-up performances across the United States. While developing a distinctive stage persona performing in various clubs across Florida, he gained local recognition, leading to opportunities to open for established comedians such as Dan Cummings and Finesse Mitchell. In 2009, Currais committed to pursuing comedy full-time, touring nationally and refining his act for both college audiences and comedy club patrons, which broadened his reach and opened doors to diverse entertainment ventures.

In 2016, he showcased his writing prowess as a creator for an episode of the animated series ‘TripTank.’ He then joined the cast of the television series ‘Lethal Weapon,’ appearing as Gus and Manager Brad across its 2018-2019 run. From 2019 to 2021, Currais became a recurring presence on Disney Channel’s ‘Just Roll with It,’ portraying The Gator for an impressive 32 episodes. His writing contributions extended to ‘Two Joysticks and a Couch’ from 2020 to 2021, further solidifying his creative versatility.
