Born in Vancouver, B.C., J.D. Scott has over 15 years of experience across the financial, construction, film, and entertainment sectors. This varied background has cultivated an corporate understanding and a strong work ethic. His early career included a period in 2011 performing for “Caesar’s Entertainment” in Las Vegas. Following this, he shifted his focus to managing operations for Scott Brothers Entertainment.

J.D. Scott co-founded Scott Brothers Entertainment (originally Dividian Production Group in 2002), with his brothers Drew and Jonathan Scott. This production company is responsible for various television projects, including “Property Brothers,” where J.D. frequently appears. He also serves as the host of “Off Topic with the Scott Brothers,” a weekly syndicated talk radio show broadcast on the Corus Radio Network. His work extends to behind-the-scenes content creation for HGTV programs, such as “Brother vs. Brother” and “Fixer Upper” with Chip and Joanna Gaines.
