About

Born in Los Angeles, California, on October 6, 1973, Jeff Bryan Davis began his acting career early, appearing in commercials at four years old. At the age of 11, he secured the role of Louis in the Broadway production of ‘The King and I,’ starring Yul Brynner. This role led to a national tour, where Davis performed in 750 shows before returning to California to continue his education. His early experiences in theatre and commercials established a foundation for his subsequent work in comedy and improvisation.

Davis became known for his improvisational skills, performing with various improv troupes. He gained significant recognition for his role as a regular performer on ABC’s acclaimed ‘Whose Line Is It Anyway?,’ where his comedic timing and impressions were frequently showcased. In parallel with his improv work, Davis appeared in several television shows, including ‘Norm,’ ‘The Drew Carey Show,’ and ‘The Sarah Silverman Program.’ He also featured in the independent film ‘The Boys & Girls Guide to Getting Down’ in 2006, among other film projects. His career demonstrates a sustained presence in both improvisational comedy and scripted productions.

Over the years, Davis has expanded his work to include directing and writing for podcasts, notably co-hosting ‘Harmontown’ from 2012 to 2019, where he also served as an uncredited writer and director for numerous episodes. He has continued touring with comedy shows like ‘Drew Carey and the Improv All Stars’ and ‘Whose Live Anyway?’ These ongoing commitments reflect his continued involvement in live performance and various media across different platforms.
